Cedarstone Whistler

Hello, we are happy to host your wedding. Please note the following for your consideration.

1. Our capacity is 85 persons.

2. We have a maximum overnight occupancy of 10 persons.

3. We are not able to accommodate receptions that consist of loud music, a DJ, or a band. Cedarstone is located in a residential area and noise after 10pm must be kept to a minimum. Previous weddings we have hosted have held their receptions at various locations throughout Whistler.

4. We do not provide catering services. However, we can provide a list of recommended caterers that are familiar with Cedarstone.

5. We recommend using a wedding planner. Here is one who is familiar with Cedarstone. www.blissevent.ca

6. This is a local photographer, who has done many wedding and photo shoots at Cedarstone. www.anastasiaphotography.com

7. Rates are $5,000 for a 2 night (minimum) wedding rental and additional nights are at our regular seasonal rates. We discount for longer term stays. All rates are subject to 5% GST.

8. We require a $5,000 damage deposit.

9. A 50% non-refundable deposit will secure your rental.

10. We do not accept creditcards, but do accept a direct deposit to our TD bank account, e-transfers or wire transfers.

11. We do not take reservations longer than a year in advance.

Relax in the steam shower, large copper bathtub, or soak in the Jacuzzi after a long day on the slopes. Play pool in the games room, listen to music or watch movies with the state of the art sound and stereo system. Cedarstone is perfect for any size family, equipped with 4 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, a fully-stocked gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops, sauna, Jacuzzi, pool table, three-car garage, heated floors, washer and dryer, and so much more.

Booking a holiday party? Need to have a meeting in a secure, comfortable place? Cedarstone is prepared to host meetings on it’s large, rectangular, wooden table. Adjacent to the kitchen, catered meetings are a breeze. For a more formal event, use the indoor and outdoor space. Light the fire outside and dance or dine by the moonlight. For winter events, sip cocktails or wine in the spacious dining room while chatting with friends and co-workers. The house can be decorated for the holiday of your choice.

Mountains, gardens, waterfalls, and wildlife are the perfect backdrop for any photo shoot. Whether you’re a photographer looking for the perfect background for your model or wanting to create your nature portfolio, look no further. Cedarstone’s grounds offer unique and picturesque photo opportunities. Wedding day photography is perfect on the Cedarstone front lawn or front steps or the many numerous areas on the property. With gazebos and nature paths right on site, the natural beauty of your surroundings will enhance your pictures. Whether indoor or outdoor, your pictures are sure to be unique.

Hoping for a special place to bring in the New Year? Wanting to host the birthday party of a lifetime? Cedarstone is more than prepared to cater to your events needs. Whether hosting a themed party or wanting to just get together with friends, Cedarstone has what you’re looking for. Having lots of outdoor and indoor space, Cedarstone can accommodate parties with approximately 75 guests. The sound/music system is wired throughout the entire house and can play music in every room. Cedarstone has been used for movie shoots and a television series. The house is equipped with 4 bedrooms plus extra sleeping space; 6 bathrooms; a large, fully stocked kitchen; and very spacious living, dining and games rooms. The ideal setting for large groups.
